Detailed Description

Role & responsibilities
  • Review, negotiate, and manage transportation and logistics contracts.
  • Handle large-value transportation budgets and drive cost optimization initiatives.
  • Manage commercial discussions with transporters, logistics partners, and vendors.
  • Lead contract renegotiations to improve commercial terms and operational efficiency.
  • Evaluate pricing models, freight rates, and transportation cost structures.
  • Manage multiple commercial agreements and vendor relationships across regions.
  • Monitor contract compliance, service levels, and commercial performance.
  • Collaborate with Logistics, Procurement, Finance, and Operations teams.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and support strategic sourcing initiatives.
Preferred candidate profile
  • 8 to 12 years of experience in Commercial Management,Logistics or Transportation,
  • Strong experience in transportation commercials and contract management.
  • Experience handling large budgets and high-value commercial engagements.
  • Proven negotiation and renegotiation skills.
  • Strong vendor management and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Good understanding of logistics operations, transportation costing, and freight management.
  • Strong analytical and commercial decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with mandatory proficiency in Hindi and English
