Detailed Description

Role Summary:

The Production Manager / Assistant Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day manufacturing operations across multiple product lines including audio, IT peripherals, power solutions, wearables, and other electronic components. This role involves ensuring production targets, quality standards, and process efficiencies are consistently met in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor day-to-day production activities to ensure timely output

  • Supervise assembly lines, SMT operations, sub-assemblies, and final product packaging

  • Allocate manpower effectively across shifts; ensure shift-wise productivity

  • Collaborate with the R&D, Quality, Purchase, and Warehouse teams to ensure smooth production flow

  • Implement and monitor lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Ensure strict adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards in production

  • Analyze production data, downtime, and output efficiency to drive improvements

  • Handle machine maintenance coordination and monitor equipment health

  • Maintain proper documentation and reporting related to production metrics

  • Support new product introductions (NPIs) and pilot runs

  • Train line supervisors and operators on SOPs, quality expectations, and safety norms

Qualification:

  • Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or related fields

  • Minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience. 
  • Additional certifications in Lean, Six Sigma, or Production Management will be an added advantage
